Beyoncé’s been teasing a mysterious new project called LEMONADE on social media for a few weeks, and now it’s finally here along with all the juicy gossip surrounding it’s content.
It’s a “visual album” featuring 12 tracks, and was premiered on HBO last night as a 60-minute short film.
James Blake, Kendrick Lamar, The Weeknd, and Jack White all make guest appearances on the record. She also samples tracks by Led Zeppelin, the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Collective, and Outkast, while Ezra Koenig (Vampire Weekend) and Father John Misty have writers credits on “Hold Up”.
“Formation”, Bey’s explosive single from earlier this year, makes an appearance on the album.
The reference to the singers marriage has had fans taking to social media to speculate on whether or not Beyonce and Jay Z are going to be calling it a day on their nuptials as fashion designer Rachel Roy was thrown into the mix after supposedly having some kind of relationship with Jay Z. Listen and see for yourself.
