The news that All Saints are making a comeback has been sprouting up all over the internet of late, and with every other 90’s artist or group reforming or releasing new material, it was not the most shocking piece of news but a welcome one at that. Because who didn’t live a bit of All Saints back in the day!?
With their tomboy style and smooth vocals they were every teenage girl’s (and boy’s) idol and talk of a 2016 album is welcome news for all of their dedicated fans.
This isn’t the first time the group have reformed though as they got back together from their initial split in 2006 to 2009. Then, after a five-year break, the band reformed again in 2013, and haven’t officially disbanded since, though they’ve been quiet for a while. They played 2014 dates with the Backstreet Boys and at a couple of UK festivals, but haven’t played together in public since their V Festival shows in August of that year.
The group are teasing a 2016 comeback via their Twitter account, posting a peaking image of the band against a grey background with the text ‘2016’.
We can’t wait to hear All Saints back in action and will have ‘Never Ever’ going round in our heads for the rest of the day!
