Russell Brand has opened a café in London and it’s on the same estate where he protested earlier this year!
The Trew Era café opened this morning in Hackney and the progress is being live tweeted @treweracafe. The Café is opening on the Hackney estate where Brand protested with residents and won against a planned eviction. It will be a social enterprise instead of a profit-making company, and is being set up with the profits from Brand’s latest book, ‘Revolution’.
Here’s the address- Trew Era Café will open at 30 Whitmore Road, N1 5RS. So get down there and let us know just how revolutionary the coffee tastes!
